It has long been our desire to ensure that Providence Mom is a parenting resource for ALL moms (and dads, and families in general!). You may have noticed that we have some new writers and our 2022 Providence Mom Writing Team is the most diverse to date. We are thrilled to be able to share more inclusive parenting perspectives, knowing that our great state of Rhode Island is a diverse one. We still have more work to do, and we will keep doing it. The most recent addition to our site is the ability to translate the entire site into 9 language in addition to English! Specifically, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Just click on the drop down in our site menu (desktop and mobile), click your desired language, and our entire site will be shown in your preferred language. Our software does not have the capability to translate text within an image, but moving forward, we will take care to ensure that pertinent information is included in all text as well as images. We are so happy to be able to provide translation for Providence Mom articles, and hope that those reading our site who are not native English speakers will find new connection, insights, and community by being able to interact with the Providence Mom website in their own language. We are always looking for new ideas on how we can do better to ensure that all moms feel represented here. We welcome your ideas, your presence, and your words.
