Originally a film, television and internet production company based out of Central Illinois, we've most recently dove into the world of online blogging. With the creation of the Slackers Selection Movie Blog, we hope to continue promoting our passion for film, and highlighting various reasons why it's the greatest medium in the world. We already have strong opinions on most of this stuff, so we fi
gured why not give it a shot; the world should be happy to hear what we have to say on the matter! As it stands, the site is now mostly dormant, with an ocassional Top 5 Movie Guide or end-of-the-year list popping up every now and then. In its peak years, items like a weekly podcast, the aforementioned Top 5 Movie Guides, movie reviews, notable news items, and more. Otherwise, we've worked on a variety of different projects - most notably, the 'Off the Subject' television show that originally premiered in 2008. Since then, we've produced various short films, hosted a radio show from which all of this was created, added a plethora of skits to our internet arsenal, created a two-hour Holiday Special that aired in 2011, penned some movie and television scripts, wrote for fellow movie blogs, and consulted on various other projects. Who knows what the future holds for this entertainment company, but there's no doubt that there's always another project ahead when this group gets together.
