In order to reach an optimum audio quality of your material we use both high quality analogue and digital outboard gear in addition to mastering suitable softwares and plug-ins.
• Our mastering session can be attended but we also accept on-line submission/delivery. Note that we will gladly accept to work with both stereo files and/or stems as needed.
• Prior to mastering it’s worth noting steps necessary to take in order to prepare your material for a successful mastering:
• Insure your mix sounds as best as possible
• Send a stereo file (or stems)
• Brick wall limiting (for example L2, L3, L2007, etc) on the master buss should be removed. This is to avoid any unnecessary processing such as dithering or limiting.
• Mixdown headroom – highly recommended to allow anywhere between -3dB and -6dB of headroom. This means that your maximum peak levels of the mixdown signal do not exceed these levels.
• Send a high resolution data files such as WAV or AIFF in resolution of your mixing session. For example, if your mixing session format is 24bit/44.1kHz, your mixdown file for mastering should be the same.
• Do not send data compressed files such as mp3, wma, as these are lossy audio formats and are inferior in sound quality.
• Provide a sample (reference) track to give us an idea of the sound you desire. This track/s can be submitted as inferior audio format such as mp3 or wma. You can also follow us on twitter & Instagram
