"ink"

I don't know what exactly to write. Mixed emotions. Feels like it's better cried out than written. But rather than uttering them, the words will still meet the ink. The mark they leave on paper, I wish, was only the liquid's black composition. But it attaches a hundred thoughts. Someone crosses the street down the memory lane. Another overestimates reality. Some seem to wander in the realm of possibilities. Some purposely vanish.

The lines thirst for something beneficial. Something universal. Although they are a bit concerned to what the tip of the pen does, they can't argue with the intention of the hand. It freely goes. They say it's the overflow of the heart. Yet someone wants to be convinced that neither the pumping organ nor the force of a dying habit urges the fingers to pair the letters up. In groups. Unevenly distributed.

The interval of lifting the modern quill and the surface of the soon-to-be-torn page of a cheap notebook is vital. Not only that it suffocates the trachea, where the air is supposed to flow, but it also continues to ask what orchestrates the hand. Why can't it ask the mastermind? Oh, it's the creator.

Who said the mind can't talk to the lines? It's an absurd way of telling that lines are not made in the image of the mind. Nothing beats when the mind learns to love. It will know the thoughts of the heart. But I guess it doesn't have to learn if it already does.

It's the disbelief and the contemptuous refusal of God that makes someone fail to obey and observe God's commands. Oftentimes, we associate the “load” of the cross believers are to carry to the burden of our sinful nature. Yet it's our nature, in fact, that we tend to disobey God because of the rebellious pride—man’s heaviest anchor when his soul doesn't recognize sovereignty and omnipotence.
