As I write this, it's Pet Memorial Day. Years ago, when we lost a wonderful dog, we planted a dogwood tree over her ashes as a memorial. As time rolled on, other pets joined her there. When this heart-shaped rock fell out of a stone wall running through our New England property, it made a perfect addition to this resting spot for the animals that graced our lives. Have you ever created a special memorial to one of your animals?
