The Independent Communication Network (BİA) is the centre piece of the IPSCommunication Foundation. BİA is an ongoing project trying to accomplish theaim of strengthening the "independent media" by four main activity areas. ⚖️ İstanbul Bar Association releases report on child justice for

• Over 29,000 lawyers were appointed in child abuse cases in İstanbul between 2020–2025.

• Sexual abuse remains the top reason for lawyer appointments, with girls aged 15–18 most represented.

• More than 246,000 children accused of crimes were appointed defense lawyers.

SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi and AANES co-leader Ilham Ahmed may visit Turkey soon, says pro-Kurdish DEM deputy Cengiz Çandar

“They are expecting an invitation from Turkey. It would not be surprising to see them in Turkey in the near future," Çandar told bianet after the MEPS forum in Kurdistan region.

Çandar further said the main issue in the talks between the SDF and the Turkey-backed Damascus government is not the integratio of the Kurdish-led force into the Syrian army.

"The main disagreement with Damascus centers around the model of governance. Syrian Kurds argue that a decentralized Syria would ensure the country’s future stability.

"The issue is not about integrating the SDF into the Syrian army. If there is an agreement on constitutional matters, that will naturally follow. The integration into the military is a technical matter.”
