Ten years ago in Brazil, was born. At the time volunteered training Brazil’s roller derby team and traveled all over the country, with her partner at the time and a big crew of Brazilian skaters, “trying to figure out how to skate bowls.” They also documented the skate scenes she found there on video—and they took photos obviously. For our 10th issue, .h._____ caught up with Dita to record the history of what is currently the longest running zine.

No yearbook without some history. We took a trip down memory lane to Paris of the 80s & 90s with who made quite a career with his mind-blowing jumps over helicopters or cars.
There was a time when the Trocadéro in front of the Eiffel Tower was in the hands of roller skaters. The history of skating on the Trocadéro dates back to the 1930s, but in the 1980s a new generation of young dreamers, armed with a pair of skates and a rebellious spirit, made the esplanade their playground. Phil “Tony Boy” Dussol was one of them. In our article he delves into a bygone era of high-flying stunts, police chases, and a time of ultimate freedom.

My personal highlight last fall was to see the Opera Sancta and interview my dear friend and performer for the latest
We were even luckier to have the opportunity to photograph some of the performers before the show including Austrian artist and choreographer who has brought Sancta Susanna to the stage as an opera performance. This amazing mix of classical opera and a wild and ecstatic two-and-a-half-hour show has created a lot of buzz internationally. Grab a copy and read about Sara’s story!
