Very saddened to hear about DJ producer legend Ashley Beedle who has been through an awful time with his health. Do help his Go Fund Me campaign if you can: https://gofund.me/ae9d8737

In November 2023, Ashley had a brain bleed and seizure. Fast forward to February 2024, he had a 16-hour operation to remove a brain mass, during which he suffered a major stroke that has left him without any mobility on his right hand side and limited speech. From November to April (with the exception of Xmas), Ashley was at Kings College Hospital, London and his wife Jo was living at the Salvation Army College to be with him full time. After four months on the Critical Care, High Dependency and Brain Seizure wards, Ashley was sent to Orpington Neuro Rehab, then Canterbury Neuro Rehab and is now in a nursing home waiting to be rehoused into assisted living accommodation. His speech has improved and Jo says his sense of humour and resilience has been remarkable.

It's been an incredibly tough time and both Ashley and Jo have discussed the following campaign long and hard before asking for our help. But if you're able to look down the back of the sofa for some loose change, they would be happy to accept it. Even a share on your socials would be incredibly helpful.

People may have seen this on my Linked In, but Stole this image from a friends page sherry but some amazing night clubs, venues, social spaces on this. Privileged to play in at least 9 of them, ran nights in some of them and also managed one of them (Mean Fiddler) - DJing, Promoting, Partying, Writing for magazines like BBM between 1996 to 2006. Times and nights our are very different today, I think as am no longer out 5 nights a week but as a blow in to Dublin I found it to be the greatest city in the world for clubbing and such amazing times back then. Lets just say Youth was not wasted on the young. We did it well. I still dream of making the names on the wall of Tempe of Sound. Made some good memories and great friends.
