Welcome to Southshore, a new, young, sun loving and lip pouting sub label of Dialtone that likes to kick back on the warm Mexican shores on which it was conceived. Birthed by Christian Orlo and Alexis Ortiz, the label was established in 2012 with a one simple objective: to release music from the day’s hottest producers and tomorrows biggest stars. The label is sure to follow in the influential ste

ps of Dialtone – often considered to be one of the first house labels in Mexico – with artists and remixers like Hot Toddy, Mark Jenkyns, Toky, Michael Jansons, Trav & Volta, Jobe, Rebel, Sean Roman, Max Belobrov SKAM and BUBBA, all stepping up to release on the imprint, both digitally and on vinyl. “House Music For Cool People” is Southshore’s motto, and given the support already collected for early releases from DJs like M A N I K, Droog, Alexis Raphael and Tone of Arc, you’d be hard pushed to argue.
