On Sunday, we were outside and noticed at least 4 or 5 butterflies on one of my bushes! I'm assuming they had recently emerged from their cocoons on these bushes. Otherwise, I'd think it kind of a strange coincidence that this many, of the exact same variety of butterfly, all found this hush at the same time, lol. Usually, these bushes only seem to attract the honey bees and bumblebees, so it was nice to see some butterflies. They were so pretty to watch. It was like having my own little butterfly house right in my front yard! 🦋

This little herd took a strole through the yard this morning! Thankfully, I don't think they munched on anything on their way through. You can also hear the cicadas, although, I feel like on camera they are much louder than they are in person.
It's so nice outside, I thought I would show you how the plants are looking! I'm working on repotting things today!
I forgot that I wanted to do a Mother's Day insert for the Interchangeable farmhouse truck! I also found some cute DIY wood wildflowers that would be perfect for the Mother's Day plant box!

It's been a busy week!
We had our first weekend at the race track, Sunday was cut short due to rain. We've been working on taxes and finally finished them last night! The Glowforge got a good cleaning. I cut a few new wood blanks and got a few orders cut, boxed, and mailed!
I also looked through my files and planned out the next several weeks of upcoming themes!

I spent all morning outside, just waiting for the eclipse to start! I noticed my Peonies had gotten big already, so I cleared all the old branches & leaves out. I also put fresh water in the bird bath and the birds seem to be enjoying it! I started cleaning up the deck, as well.
My husband accidentally took all of the glasses we had for the eclipse with him to work, so I was not able to actually watch it, which also meant that I didn't get any good photos of it either. It definitely did not get as dark as it did in 2017. I could feel the temperature drop some.
So here are some photos & videos I took of the Solar Eclipse event today.
This is your sign to go clean your dishwasher! I used Dawn Powerwash spray and Vinegar to clean all the parts. Also, if you've ever broken a glass in the dishwasher, be careful when removing and cleaning the pieces as this is where the broken glass will be!
I spent some time loading up the booth today, with the help of my father-in-law! I wanted to get it ready for tomorrow's Myles of Pickin's 1 year Anniversary Event! If you are local, be sure to make a stop in! They will have a food truck there and a scavenger hunt. Lots of booths are running sales!
