My brother set me up with his friend, Stewart, a few weeks ago. He told me Stewart was a great guy, with a house, a car, and a decent job.
I liked him and agreed to a date. One evening, he picked me up, and we went to a very fancy restaurant. I had never been to such a restaurant in my life. THE COFFEE THERE WAS, LIKE, A $100.
After reading the menu, I told him I couldn't afford to eat there. He said he would pay and asked me not to hurt his feelings by refusing. I was flattered, so I agreed.
We placed our order and enjoyed the conversation. Everything seemed great. Stewart was funny and smart, and we discussed a lot of topics.
When it was time to pay the bill, he took out his card with a smile and gave it to the waitress. I excused myself to the bathroom, and when I came back... I STILL REMEMBER EVERYTHING AS IF IN A FOG; IT WAS SO SHOCKING TO SEE

DURING AN ARGUMENT ON THE ROAD, MY HUSBAND THREW ME OUT OF THE CAR 30 MILES FROM HOME – KARMA HAD THE LAST LAUGH

We were driving home from a weekend getaway. We had a great time, but on the last day, my husband got jealous of our waiter, which led to a pointless argument that dragged on the entire way home.

We were about 30 miles from home when my husband really hit BELOW THE BELT.

"I DOUBT YOU WOULD HAVE HELD BACK FROM FLIRTING IF I WASN'T AROUND!" he said.

That hurt. I would never, under any circumstances, cheat on him. So I told him a few choice words that you shouldn't say around kids. He abruptly stopped the car and said, "GET OUT AND WALK HOME!"

I got out, slammed the car door, and started walking. Little did I know, fate was about to teach him a lesson and save me within 15 minutes, because

At 75, I reached my breaking point. On our 50th wedding anniversary, my husband Donald didn’t just forget to congratulate me—he didn’t even come home for the special dinner I’d prepared. It was 9:30 p.m., and he was still nowhere to be found.

My anger was off the charts, and in that moment, I made a decision: I wanted a divorce.

I took my husband’s things and dumped them outside, ready to shock the life out of him when he finally showed up.

When he saw his stuff outside, he was stunned. “What are my things doing out on the lawn? Have you run mad, woman?”

“Mad?!” I shouted back. “You’re the one who must be mad! Do you have Alzheimer’s or amnesia? I’m kicking you out. I’m divorcing you!”

“Divorcing me?” Donald gasped, completely taken aback. “I’m seventy-eight years old, and you’re seventy-five, and you want a DIVORCE?”

“Yes!” I yelled, refusing to back down. “Do you think that just because I’m seventy-five, I’m no longer a woman? That you can take me for granted? Well, I won’t let you!”

My son was going to marry the "love of his life," and I felt extremely happy for them. When we arrived at the wedding venue, the maid of honor came to my son and hugged him. But I noticed how she slipped him a letter and heard her whisper in his ear, "READ IT AND RUN."

When she walked away, my son opened the letter. His face changed immediately; he looked completely shocked.

"What happened, dear?" I asked, scared. "I have to go, Mom. NOW," he replied sharply, then abruptly got into the car and drove away quickly.

AT THANKSGIVING DINNER, MY DAUGHTER STOOD UP AND SHOUTED, "AND WHERE'S THE WOMAN DAD KEEPS IN OUR SHED?"

At our family Thanksgiving dinner, my daughter couldn't sit still. She kept glancing out the window like she was waiting for someone. When we all sat down to eat, and I was about to carve the turkey, she suddenly stood on her chair and shouted loud enough for everyone to hear, "And where is SHE?!"

"Who?" I asked, feeling a tight knot form in my chest.

"Well, the woman Dad hides in our shed! He always goes to see her when you're at work or the store! I saw her with my OWN eyes!"

I dropped the knife. My husband went pale. My parents, my in-laws, everyone was staring at him. My daughter grabbed my hand and said, "Come on, let's go to the shed and bring her here."

You can't imagine my excitement! After all these years, I was finally standing on the doorstep of my dream house.

I’ve been married to my husband for 10 years, and after struggling to have a child, we decided to adopt. My husband, a busy businessman, didn’t have the time to focus on the process, so I took it upon myself to call agencies, submit paperwork, and review lists of children in need of homes.
