ØEN Records and Hviledag are proud to release a full album with reworked versions of Hviledag’s ALBUM FOUND.

The reel to reel tape loop-based work is taken in new directions by a local lineup of composers: Johan Carøe, Bjarke Rasmussen, Mads Kinnerup, FATÄK, Quiver, Alba Liv, Emil Duvier, Mikkel Oldrup and Mikael Tobias.

Soon we will release Hviledag's ALBUM FOUND! The album originates from the reel to reel tape loop-based score he composed for the experimental animation film FILM FOUND directed by Claudia Munksgaard-Palmqvist. Central to the project is an electronic universe that seeks to reconnect with materiality through the tape's fallible nature, (re)found recordings of acoustic instruments and sound objects captured and found in the Nordic nature. The album will be out late August, but today you can listen to the first single “Intention and Chance” ❤️‍🔥
