It’s always wine time (somewhere). Check out this roundup of some perfectly wonderful spots to enjoy a glass or two as the weather starts to heat up (well, we hear it’s coming, anyway).

Volo has the perfect oasis in the back that feels like you’ve been transported to an Italian countryside, lush with floura and plush with relaxing cushions and couches. They also offer great nibbles and small plates to accompany their moderately large selection of varietals.

Foodie friends - The St. Regis Chicago has been mum on its future dining options since the Alinea group pulled out months ago. Now, Lettuce Entertain You is taking over with a Japanese restaurant and Tuscan steakhouse on deck for 2023.

Foodie friends - pay The Kennison a visit before they shutter for good in a few weeks! They will be missed!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce The Kennison will permanently close its doors after brunch service on Sunday Oct. 2nd. We will operate our normal breakfast, brunch, and dinner schedule through the 2nd.

It has been a great honor to serve the incredible Lincoln Park community, and we sincerely want to thank you for all of your support. We hope you’ll stop by for one last meal (or several) so we can say goodbye and thank you in person for your patronage over the years.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out The Darling Chicago - what are you waiting for? These carefully crafted cocktails are gorgeous and delicious. And the “Grand Ballroom” space is a beautiful sight to behold.
