ABOUT ME
Hello my name is Christopher MacDonald don’t be scared by the cover photo It’s just me acting in a short war film. Now a bit about me and I used to work for Comet and when they closed down in 2012 I decided to retrain for a job in the media industry and thus my five year journey began. I thought the best way to learn would be to do a bit of everything and get a taste of what I’d be good at. The first was a two year course in Art Media and Design where I found a love for Photoshop and stills Photography. Then I was accepted for a two year HND in TV Production which led straight into a BA Degree in Television Production from Napier University in Edinburgh which I passed in 2017. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and now that I have gained the creative skills and experience I decided to start my own company based in Dunfermline concentrating on filming weddings and special occasions within a 50 mile radius of Dunfermline, My hopes for the future are to build a recognizable brand that people will associate with filming weddings and other occasions and filming services. It strikes me that when you think of something like new windows for your home then you go to CR Smith or Everest so why not AMARACUS PRODUCTIONS for your wedding or special occasion, I use ADOBE Premier editing software which is the industry standard, this allows me to create a cinematic effect for any producion I make. The cameras I use are the Panasonic GH4 which can shoot in 4K , it is a DSLR with interchangeable lenses. I also use a CANON XA30 HD camcorder plus I use SENNHEISER radio mics to gain the very best sound quality for the services and the speeches within a wedding . I’ve had a lot of experience filming weddings , documentaries , short films and live events. If you have any questions about me or what i can do then please get in touch.
