I recently saw a post about this very thing. I thought “How does a DJ forget his power cord (of all things)? The answer: from RUSHING! Case in point, I had a last minute gig and the circumstances changed in the 11th hour and I was then running late. My manager told me to “slow down before I forgot something as the situation was not our fault.” I thought I had taken her advice until I jumped in my Lyft, did my mental checklist and realized what I left behind. đŸ€ŠđŸŸâ€â™‚ïž Now, I’m passing this along. “Give yourself enough prep time before any gig so you can double check all of your gear without being in a hurry.” âœŒđŸŸđŸ’™
