The Girl At First Avenue

The Girl At First Avenue was started in 2010 as a ‘hobby blog’ documenting Chandana’s thoughts and musings, and it soon grew to be an influential online presence, popular for featuring modest, simplistic styling that could be worn and carried by the everyday-girl. It has since, evolved from being a personal blog to a travel, fashion & lifestyle blog, and has been listed as one of the Top 20 fashion blogs in India.

It is run by Co-founders Chandana Munipalle & Kalyan Budhavarti

Chandana: Having had a natural flair and passion towards everything arts-y and creative since childhood, it was only natural that I turned my passion into a profession and took up blogging full-time. Armed with a degree in Business Management, a head brimming with creative ideas and an itch to constantly keep re-inventing and improving myself, I set out to build a platform that would provide style ideas, tips, and a visual diary of inspiration”

Kalyan: “Since the beginning of this journey, the aim has always been to build a strong brand aesthetic by collaborating with as many like minded brands, people and publications along the way. The focus is and always will be on bringing out our creative best with every post, and exploring new ideas rather than chase numbers or followers”
