You might not know this but P.G. Six’s “The Fallen Leaves that Jewel the Ground” was featured in the film and on the soundtrack (Warp Records/Warp Films) for the Shane Meadow’s directed cult movie ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’ starring Paddy Constandine.

It’s the 20th anniversary and it seems the film is back in theaters in the UK. This presents a good opportunity to revisit the soundtrack which also included songs by Aphex Twin, Richard Hawley, M Ward, Calexico, Aden, Cul de Sac and more.

coincidently, we have copies of the 2023 expanded 2XLP available in our shop

From what we remember it was a fantastic show from all parties but the night turned when we got outside to 10th Street and the back window of the car had been smashed, glass everywhere. Our buddy Art’s backpack had been stolen. Had to drive back to Chinatown, NYC with the wind whipping through the car at 1AM on a school night. Good times indeed!
