Went out for a Guinness after work and this cigar paired absolutely PERFECT!

The La Palina El Diario is a brilliant medium-full strength smoke with notes of Earth, coffee, almond, sweet cedar, pepper and baking spice! The draw is extremely smooth and the construction is unmatched! I could’ve held this cigar upright by the ash if I wanted to!

I found a box of 20 of these 7 x 50 churchills for about $145. That makes every cigar just over $7 a piece! That is an amazing price point given all of the fantastic characteristics of this smoke, making the El Diario… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

‼️100 Subscribers‼️

I am so incredibly thankful for this monumental milestone in my cigar journey! I never expected so many people to be supportive of what I am doing here and it honestly means so very much to me. Thank you all for watching my reviews and showing your support in every way you can. This is only the beginning!

When I get back home to Texas I will be reviewing a very special cigar from my aging humidor in celebration of this milestone, of course I still have a few weeks before I get back…

SO. In the meantime I will be reviewing the following ci**rs while I am still out of state for work:

- Perdomo 30th Anniversary Maduro
- Liga Privada Papas Fritas by Drew Estate Ci**rs : The Rebirth of Ci**rs
- And, a special Casa de Montecristo Houston 1960 EXCLUSIVE!

Today was my son’s 3rd birthday and we had an AMAZING time celebrating… but daddy is worn out and needs a relaxing bath. Bath bomb of choice? The JFR Lunatic!

This cigar has TONS of powerful flavor immediately from light up, and the further into this stick I go it only gets better! The main flavor notes I’m picking up are a base of leather and charred oak with a fair amount of pepper and almond, but right around the 2nd third I’m getting an incredible combination of mocha and espresso with a touch of sweet cream - which is more noticeable in the retrohale, along with a white pepper and almond.

I found a box of 28 - yes, twenty eight - of these 4.7 x 52 short robustos for $190, making every cigar UNDER $7 A PIECE! An incredible price point for this medium strength stick delivering powerful, delicious flavor with every draw! I believe this cigar is… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

Yesterday we went on a fishing trip in Kansas, and man did we catch some fish! After our 9th Blue Catfish I decided it was time to light up this absolute beauty!

The Kristoff Guardrail is definitely a super unique treat, with its Brazilian wrapper leaf covering a Dominican binder, and a delicious combination of Dominican and African filler! This cigar smoked as a medium strength stick with notes of Earth, leather, raisin, pepper, chocolate, coffee and a touch of allspice or cinnamon! The draw was a little tight, but very airy and creamy on the finish. Everything I wanted in this moment of celebration and relaxation!

A box of 20 of these 5 1/2 x 54 robustos is going for about $180, making every cigar roughly $9 a piece and I feel like that’s a pretty fair price when all things are considered with this easy-smoking maduro. The result are in… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

Last night we were exploring Chesterton, IN for a new local place to have dinner and afterwards I had this budget smoke. And honestly, it was a pretty great cigar!

The La Estrella Cubana Connecticut is an extremely mild cigar in strength with a surprisingly vivid array of flavor notes including cedar, sweet cream, hazelnut, coffee and white pepper. Definitely a cigar you can enjoy anytime, and an absolute go-to for a breakfast cigar!

I found a bundle of 20 of these 5 x 50 robustos for right around $60, making every cigar about $3 a piece! With the price point of a cuban sandwich but the experience of a premium long filler cigar I’d say this smoke is… ABSOLUTELY BUNDLE WORTHY!

I woke up this morning and realized I’ve been doing cigar reviews on YouTube for over a year now! Thank you all for your support, I really do appreciate it 🍂💨

The Montecristo Crafted by AJ Fernandez is everything you could hope for when you think of two GIANT names coming together! From light up I was hit with a massive amount of flavor and strength that absolutely did not let up. The most notable flavor notes I found were charred oak, bitter coffee, black pepper with a touch of red pepper and a slight sweet cream.

This 4 x 52 figurado was super robust, meaty and incredibly smoky with a damn near coffee-like level of strength but overall very enjoyable.

I found a box of 10 figurado vitolas for about $115 making every cigar about $11.50 a piece. If you are looking for a 45 minutes smoke with a TON of strength and flavor I would look no further than this stick right here… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

Finally got home after working in the DFW area and lit up this AMAZING cigar!

The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story may only be a 4 x 49 but this perfecto has a TON of flavor! From light up the major flavor notes I’m getting is a combination of cedar and oak with notes of cashew and almond with a bitter coffee and pepper coming in around the half way point of this smoke. The nub of this cigar is very robust with heavy emphasis on the pepper and coffee notes with a base of oak.

I found a box of 25 of these complex little ci**rs for about $160, making every stick about $6.50! That’s an incredible price point for this 30 minute smoke, making it… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

I had an awesome time talking to my dad and my brother on a video call. Cigar of choice? The Rocky Patel 20th Anniversary!

This cigar opened up with a huge chocolate note that never left! Along side notes of earth and leather with some cashew, espresso and caramel to make this cigar absolutely mouthwatering!

I found a box of 15 of these 6 x 50 toros for about $160 making ever cigar about $10.50 a piece. With such a smooth flavor and profile and a medium strength level I’d say these ci**rs are… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

Went to Deer Park, Texas today so the kiddos could hang out with their Nana at the park. Lit up this beautiful cigar out there and was not disappointed at all!

The Perla Del Mar Shade starts out fairly peppery with notes of sweet cedar and almond, but as the smoke progresses there are notes of coffee, sweet cream and just a touch of saltiness. I found that around the halfway mark I was picking up on some citrus as well as some white pepper, and the blend wraps up with a hearty and bitter pepper, almond, coffee and cedar.

I found a box of 25 of these 6 x 54 toros for just under $190, making every cigar roughly $7.50 a piece. Such an amazing price point for this super smooth, mild to medium strength cigar you can enjoy literally any time of day. I believe this cigar is… ABSOLUTELY BOX WORTHY!

Had this bad boy while grilling some pork chops today. Performed just as well as ever!

The 5 Vegas Gold is a very light, mild, and smooth cigar with notes of walnut and almond, cedar, white pepper and a slight bit of honey starting early in the 2nd third. About halfway through this 6 x 54 Torpedo I was picking up on more Earthiness with a hint of salt, and the flavor notes altogether became a bit bitter and peppery in the final third.

I was able to find a box of 20 torpedoes for less than $100! Making this budget smoke… ABSOLUTEY BOX WORTHY!

Here lately I’ve been working through several personal issues, trying my best to balance my time at home and on the road working. I’ve realized I haven’t been posting near as often and the ci**rs I light up have been more of a wind-down and not so much for review purposes. I never wanted to be tied to a schedule or feel obligated to keep up with my socials but I forgot how therapeutic and enjoyable making this content can be. So, with that being said, more reviews will be coming and they will be coming a little more steadily than they have been. I absolutely love ci**rs and recording/editing videos for you guys. I’m ready to get back to it and hit the ground running 🍂💨

Tried out the Montecristo Platinum Series Casino 1 and I’m pretty disappointed honestly.

This is absolutely the saltiest cigar I have ever had, with flavor notes of cedar, nuts, anise and hay throughout with hints of caramel and pepper added late in the 2nd third.

Today, I was scheduled to go live on YouTube. Of course, that didn’t end up happening. Instead I decided to enjoy the time that I had in Monterrey, CA at Fisherman’s Wharf. I was having a very stressful morning, a very emotional and mental battle with some personal things going on in my life. But what I learned today is that sometimes it’s ok to step away. It’s ok to take some time for yourself, forget about everything going on and just live a little.
