ZRockR is very saddened to learn of the passing of former Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake/David Coverdale guitarist John Sykes due to cancer. We extend our most deepest condolences to John's family, friends and fans world wide at this time.

This is heartbreaking. We are saddened to hear of the passing of David Lynch, known for not only his work in film and TV, but also directing music videos and collaborating with artists like Nine Inch Nails, Moby, Chris Isaak and more. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and countless fans. RIP

It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and the artist, David Lynch. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, “Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.”

The Future of Sinwave

The last month and a half has been spent trying to reopen the doors of Sinwave, to get our people back to work and allow our family to come back home. It has been quite a roller-coaster! We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and love from friends, patrons, regulars, investors, other venue owners, the Las Vegas metal, goth, EDM, punk communities, and those communities outside of Las Vegas. Thank you for your kind words, for connecting us with your networks, and for believing in us.

Over the past few weeks I have been working with a team that I really believe in to help revive Sinwave and make it better, stronger, and more efficient than ever before. Unfortunately, the reality is that we will not be able to reopen Sinwave at its current location or in the immediate future. Once we had our dream team together, it was simply too late.

As devastating as this is, we are moving forward with optimism. This was my first attempt at a venue and it was a lot for me to handle. However, all of us have learned a lot, both through new experiences and through our mistakes. Our focus now is to take the knowledge we've gained and use it on a new venture that will carry the same vision, but with a fresh start and a much improved experience.

Sinwave is dead. Long live Sinwave!

ZRockR extends our sincere condolences to the family, friends and fans of Las Vegas legendary lounge singer Cook E Jarr. Loved by all who ever met him, his high energy shows from the Dunes to years later at The Paris are true Vegas entertainment history.
Rest in Peace and Power, Sir 🌹

Cook E. Jarr died at about 2 p.m. Thursday of complications from pneumonia, his wife Stacy confirmed Wednesday morning. The man born Anthony Pettine was 83.

Thank you Bobby’s Pizzeria for all you are doing for the first responders battling the fires in LA! 🤘🏼

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has generously donated to Bobby’s Pizzeria via Venmo and Zelle to help us provide food to those in need during these challenging times caused by the California fires. Thanks to your kindness and support, we’ve been able to deliver pizzas, pasta, salads, subs, and drinks to shelters, volunteers, fire crews, police, and rescue teams who are tirelessly working to protect and serve our communities.

One unique way we’ve been able to assist is by staying open until 4 AM, allowing us to continue serving late into the night when most places are closed. The need is great, and we are honored to step up and help wherever we can.

We will continue donating food to anyone in need throughout the weekend.
