As you can imagine I've been receiving a lot of enquiries in relation to the MPC Bible and MPC 3.4, so I wrote an FAQ which I'll update once I am closer to completing the new course:

I've been receiving a lot of enquiries about my plans in relation to the MPC 3 beta firmware and the MPC Bible, so here's some more details on what I'm working on at the moment and I'll update this page as things progress.

If you're testing out MPC 3.4 beta, let me know if you ever discover any issues with any of my expansions (best to email all the details to [email protected]). I've been testing and so far all seems working fine but no doubt there may be some 3.4 weirdness that I can either workaround myself or certainly report to Akai to hopefully fix. Things to be aware of:

MPC 3.4 doesn't currently load individual sequences (sxq files), so if an expansion contains these use the provided .mpcpattern files instead.

MPC 3.4 has the same loading issues as experienced in the Force 3.3 OS, where sample-heavy XPM files (those with 100+ samples) can take ages to load. I've previously countered this browser bug this by updating certain expansions to use 'sample chains', so make sure you are running those updated versions with 3.4 (e.g. Electric Keys 2.1, piano suite 2.1 etc)
