To all Boat owners, please read my statement to the boat supply company Overton's, and do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from these crooks! I have posted this statement everywhere on their page, and will now do a special video to show the world what they have done to me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! Thank you.

"On July 10th I ordered trailer guide-ons and the total was $120.05. The next day, July 11th, I received an email from your company stating that my order was not processed correctly, and I had to reorder, so I did. Later that night I was going through my checking account via on-line banking and noticed where both charges had been processed, the 10th and 11th, $120.05 twice for a total of $240.10. So, I contacted your company and you agreed to refund me $120.05. It’s now been two weeks and I have not received the refund, so I called you again today July 24th. I was told the refund was submitted properly on your end, excepted and cleared by my bank, and because of that there is nothing else you can do because the money has been refunded. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred to one. After 15 minutes on the phone with the supervisor who was checking things on his end and placing me on hold from time to time, he said the same thing, “we have refunded your money to your bank and there is nothing else I can do for you, call your bank”. I did contact my bank and was told that I was lied to! They informed me that no credit was ever sent from Overton’s to them and they will now open an investigation on their end. Bottom line, Overton’s is not an honorable company! I will use my platform as the host of the podcast “The Douglas Ducote Show” which has over 1.6 million subscribers, to make damn sure every boat owner considering buying from you company understands the risk they are taking! Category 1 Hurricane Beryl made landfall on July 8, in Texas, and “two weeks later” there are still people without power. 22 people died in Texas during the landfall, BUT another 15 have since died due to “heat exhaustion” because of no electricity to run their home air conditioners! Please pray for those in Texas that have been negatively affected due to the incompetence of this administration.
