Amplified Press Amplified Press is a micropress based in Adelaide, South Australia, that publishes original comic books, zines and other printed media.

Amplified Press was founded in 2003 (as 24 Hour Cynic Press) by publisher and editor Owen Heitmann. It was originally intended primarily as an outlet for his own work, but has since published collaborations and anthologies featuring dozens of other artists, including prominent Australian comic creators such as Greg Holfeld, Dan McGuiness, and Georgina Chadderton. In 2017, Amplified Press adopted i

ts current name in order to reflect its growing focus on amplifying local comics voices, particularly those of South Australian creators.
