Under the sun's scorching heat, the sizzling spirit of the Seniorhinos surpassed it as they hailed the champions in the lawn tennis men's and women's competition during the 11th Intercollegiate Students' Festival.
Mae Jane Rudas and Lenyle Kate Bati-on, Rhinos' lawn tennis women players, expressed their struggle due to the burning heat. Still, together with teamwork and great determination, they hurdled the challenge and reigned as champions.
Rhinos' lawn tennis men's representatives, Val Clarence Tamayo Sy and Franz Leo C. Dirige, also had a thrilling set against the Juniorhive, but they still managed to conquer the title by showing their support to each other. "Nalipay jd kaayo mi nga nakulbaan kay kabalo mi nga well trained among opponents and we really didn't expect nga madaog mi kay dili jd namo kabisado ang Lawn Tennis especially nako nga wala jd sugod kadula ug Lawn Tennis pero nangita jd kog pamaagi nga makabalo ko sa rules and strategies by watching tiktok. Most importantly we thought ourselves nga bahalag mapildi or madaog basta malingaw ok ra", Sy said.
