I'm always so tickled to meet one of my literary agent clients. Zoom calls are good, but face-to-face is always better. And Ike Eisenmann was especially a delight to meet because I felt a sense of nostalgia for my own childhood. Ike was Tony in the Disney classic, Escape to Witch Mountain, a film I loved. Ike was such a cutie, and I wanted to be Tia (only one letter away from my own name) and have telekinetic powers. So cool!

Ike is the nicest guy, and we could have talked for many more than the three hours we spent together. His wife, Tia (yes, same name!) is also delightful!

I'm going to be shopping Ike's memoir in January, where we get to experience the magic of working on movie sets through a young and hard-working boy's eyes...but there's angst too, with his toxic stage-manager father. It's truly a book of magic, light and shadows.

I hope to have some good news on that soon!

Meet Dea Lenihan! 🎨

Dea Lenihan is an author/illustrator who studied painting, illustration, and drawing at Rutgers University and Montclair State University. She also studied with Bob Budiansky, an artist most known for his work on the Marvel Transformers comics.

She has designed best-selling coloring books for adults. The first book she illustrated, The Open Pillow, was featured for a Special Storytime Weekend at The Eric Carle Museum of Storytime Art. Her second illustrated picture book, American Pie, written by Lynne Marie, is coming Spring 2022 from Spork/Dancing Flamingo Press.

She lives on the coast of New Jersey where she collects vintage writing instruments and ghost stories. She can usually be found drawing with Buddy the conure on her shoulder.

She is the CEO & Founder of b Authentic Inc, where she’s leading a movement to eradicate the all-too-fake working world and make it a radically authentic place.

Erin is a best-selling author, TEDx speaker, podcast co-host, and coach-sultant. She’s spoken to thousands of people and her thought leadership has been published in Business Insider, Fast Company, Well+Good, among others.

Erin co-hosts an offbeat career and leadership podcast, "b Cause Work Doesn't Have to Suck". She released her first book, You Do You(ish) in 2021.

Erin spent her career “first half” working in the corporate world, where at the age of 42, she became the CEO of a large healthcare financial institution.
