Rough day at work today. Just kidding. I have the coolest job.

We all got out and shot our rifle builds and got video for our story. Everyone had some great builds and they were all very unique and different from the next. We will have more details in our upcoming story.

As if the Bond Arms Cyclops in .45-70 wasn’t enough, the company released the “Thumper” in .50 AE. So, of course, I had to shoot it, too.

The derringer is the Cyclops “Thumper.” You may remember last year when I shot the Cyclops in .45-70. This is the same gun but with the .50 AE accessory barrel. It is an exciting round, for sure. I can still feel it.

My rifle build is complete and ready for our story - coming soon.

This weekend I zeroed the scope and dialed in the gas system for running a suppressor. Thank you for helping with the shooting bench, it made the job much easier.

This is pretty much a dream build in 6.5 Grendel and consists of parts from Leapers, , , , , , , and .

The Alkaid is a very cool feat of engineering and can go from a standard drop point, EDC blade to a push dagger with the press of a button.

I was honored to be invited to the Smith & Wesson 2024 Media Event last month and had an amazing time. The new facility in Tennessee is incredible. Likewise, the people were really great and took good care of us attendees.

It was very cool getting the opportunity to meet and shoot with at the Smith & Wesson 2024 Media Event last week.

Thank you, Nick, for giving me a closer look at the grip you use to help manage recoil. I am going to be practicing that.

During the Smith & Wesson 2024 Media Event last week they brought in retired SEAL (Team 6) Mark Coch (****msinstruction) to provide some training the SEAL way.

It was excellent instruction and he is very good at identifying areas that need work and providing tools to help you tighten it up.

Unfortunately it was just a couple hours, but I have some good insights from him that I can work on when I practice. I would really enjoy a few days of this.

I am not a foodie and I never post photos of my food. But one of my favorite foods is Pho and I found a place just about 45 minutes from us, in Lake Orion, called Pho Street.

The people are the best, the service is excellent, and the Pho is outstanding.

My wife and I stop in whenever we are out that way. It is so worth it.

Ok, back to not posting food on my social media.
