Langhorne Creative Group We write short stories, novels, and on make cool videos for Rumble and YouTube.

Langhorne Creative Group was formed by Stephen Clements and JT Davenport to make sure that new ideas and stories could be told, because both were disgusted by the colossal stacks of unoriginal crap found in the modern bookstore. Along the way, we have joined forces with other hot talents like Jeff Klitzner and Joe "Black Spartacus" Tate to offer the best new stories for the modern reader.

My dear dear friends, we're back with Ernest Gary Gygax Jr. for the next episode of his oral history series. In this one, young Jimmy Jet enthusiast Ernie moves to Lake Geneva and commits a lot more violence than I expected! It's a good watch, check it out.
YouTube gets it tomorrow.

My dear dear friends, join me as I chronicle the life of Ernie Gygax, firstborn son of Dungeons & Dragons creator Gary Gygax. Gary was an interesting guy, as is Ernie. To ensure the family history of

My dear dear friends, this Rumble Tuesday we've got of an epic tale of conquest, violence, and hormones run amok as two warlords duel over ownership of a enticing slave girl. Another short story from Marinos Anagnostopoulos' Maidens and Mayhem collection, this first part sets the stage for the carnage to come in part two.
YouTube gets it tomorrow, and I will post links to Marinos' other dramatic readings in the comments, because they're fun and different.

My dear dear friends! Dear dear friend Gregory Foxx Jr. is celebrating Independence Day weekend by posting his short film "The Duppy Man's Walk"! This is the film that caught my eye at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in 2023 and led to our interview. Watch it before he takes it down!

This week's Big Video is my report on the North Texas RPG Con! A bunch of gamers running a bunch of games, with way too much heat and booze to go with it, it was a blast. A little bad, a lot of good, great people, great food, and WENCHES! Come hear how I got there, what I did there, and see if it interests you to join the fun. Rumble today, YouTube tomorrow.

Travelling to the land of searing heat and smoking BBQ pits, Stephen went for his third trip to the North Texas RPG Convention in Dallas, Texas. He's going back for a third helping because it's too go

This Rumble Tuesday, we're reading advice from the master, the creator, the man who made RPGs and D&D a thing, on how to become a master of the craft. The number of creators I now count as friends reminded me of the invaluable lessons in Gary Gygax's book, Role-Playing Mastery.
This first in an ongoing series, we'll read what Gary wrote, I'll give my thoughts on it, and I'd love to hear yours!
YouTube gets it tomorrow.

As I spend more time around RPG creative types, a book that holds invaluable lessons for all of us (and indeed for anyone trying to improve themselves in a craft or profession) is one I picked up a lo

My dear dear friends, this week marks the beginning of our oral history series with Ernest Gary Gygax Jr., aka Ernie Gygax. Son of D&D creator Gary Gygax, Ernie was there in the beginning, played important parts in the early days of TSR (including developing the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon), and he's still in the mix today. It's an honor to help record his life story.
As always, Rumble gets it today, YouTube tomorrow.

My dear dear friends, join me as I chronicle the life of Ernie Gygax, firstborn son of Dungeons & Dragons creator Gary Gygax. Gary was an interesting guy, as is Ernie. To ensure the family history of

Rollins Distillery made the best cocktails at the Fish House beer festival yesterday, and you can try their tastiest one at home! One of my favorite videos I did was this one where I show you how to make the Emerald Coast cocktail. Hope you enjoy!

Adventure module Castle Wolfmoon came up with dear dear friend Christopher Clark in our interview last year, and his promised Kickstarter to make the last work he and Gary Gygax worked on together is almost upon us!
It's an interesting story how this 3-part adventure series came together, so please check out this short interview excerpt for the details. YouTube version in the comments.

My dear dear friends, join me as I walk through the zany/madcap/time breaking/bath house fighting/harem liberating adventure for AD&D 1st edition that is Day of Al'Akbar. Written by dear dear friend Allen Hammack, this module is effectively 4 adventures in 1, and the writing is so good that it's worth reading for Allen's wise cracks on their own. This is a longer video, because there's so much good stuff to talk about.

My dear dear friends, dear dear friend Marinos Anagnostopoulos' new book Maidens and Mayhem has some fire tales of swords & sorcery, including this week's dramatic reading, "Horror In Arkaia".
It's a nasty little tale about the necessity of burning witches (in a fantasy context, of course).
YouTube gets it tomorrow.

This Rumble Tuesday, we're checking back in with dear dear friend David Hubbard. See, David had the nerve to go to game conventions WITHOUT ME, and to make things worse he even went to Super Nintendo World WITHOUT ME! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!!

This Rumble Tuesday brings unspeakable, unsinkable horror from the Deep! H.P. Lovecraft wrote the short story Dagon and is where a lot of the flavor about monstrous temples to forgotten gods beneath the sea came from, and madness! Don't forget about the madness! I hope you enjoy this dramatic reading, now with 100% more morphine!

We're back with a dynamite interview this Rumble Tuesday! Gregory Foxx, Jr works in the film industry trenches, whether on the hit show Ozark, the surprisingly good Werewolf By Night, or sharing screen time with Daniel Craig in Logan Lucky. I met him at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon in Mobile when he screened his short film The Duppy Man's Walk. I enjoyed the short film, and I enjoyed our talk, so hopefully you will, too!

This Rumble Tuesday, boy do I have a balls-to-the-wall crazy adventure to give you. Hanging Coffins of the Vampire Queen by Mark Taormino for Old School Dungeons & Dragons delivers on exactly what the title offers, grindhouse ultraviolence involving a hot vampire queen's deadly dungeon. It's a longer video, because there is so much to cover, including an interview with Mark about his inspirations in making the module. Prepare to be entertained!
YouTube gets it tomorrow.

My dear dear friends, join me for a trip to the moon and greasing up bears with Part 3 of the Adventure of Baron Munchausen! The Baron starts off as a slave to the Grand Turk and charged with bee herding (yes, bee herding), but then things go wild very quickly.
I hope you enjoy, and YouTube gets it tomorrow!

Before Baron Munchausen made it to the silver screen, he was a real person with questionably real stories to tell. Those stories were collected back in the day and can now be found in many short story

My dear dear friends, I'm back with a second dose of the Adventures of Baron Munchausen! In the first episode he used a wolf to pull his sleigh on the way to Russia, where the Baron hoped to secure an officer's commission in the Tzar's army. Now he has his commission and has gone to war with the Turk! There are battlefield heroics, a bad case of sabre elbow, and even cannon-assisted flying to be had, so join me!

In case you like stories and adventures, this week's RPG review starts off with Santa getting terrorist bombed and things get darker from there! Ryan Gregory Howard's "Oh Knight Divine" is a grimdark Christmas-themed module, and I like how he adapted St. Nicholas (a real person, btw, not some invention) to an Old School D&D quest. In one video, you get both a review of the module and an interview with its creator. I hope you are entertained!

This Rumble Tuesday we take to flights of fantasy and tall tales that are totally true trust me bro with my first reading from short story collection, The Adventures of the Baron Munchausen! Hear how the Baron began the journey to Russia that set him up for wild adventures to come, including defeating the Sultan's army by himself, travelling to the moon, and dying but getting over it. This Rumble Tuesday's video is on a topic near and dear to my gaming buddies' hearts, and that is going to RPG conventions. There's a lot that goes into con, like how to get there, how to eat, how to not stink the place up, and scheduling games to get the most out of the experience. I also give my review of Total Confusion Game Convention (TotalCon) 2024 to help illustrate the points.
Hope you enjoy it, and I hope to see you at a con!

My dear dear friends, please welcome actor, director, and noodle nut Jeff Gorcyca to my interview series! I first discovered Jeff's hysterical Cthulhu martial arts short film at the HP H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon held in Mobile last year, and thought only an "interesting" person could have made this. He agreed to talk, so join us in a deep dive of what it's like to be an actor, to make movies, to hand model, and more. :)

This Rumble Tuesday, we're taking a look at the Al-Qadim adventure for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition, Suitable Donations. A nice little tomb robbing adventure that can be fit in anywhere, I went wild with it and my players had to Wish themselves into not being hunted down by a dragon big enough to blot out the sun! There's plenty of good story and DM tips included. Check it out!

This Tuesday, I'm dropping a load of videos on Rumble! Starting with Two Questions For Christopher Holmes, we also have Christopher Clark's movie picks, a movie review of Rudy Ray Moore's Petey Wheatstraw: The Devil's Son In Law, and an adorable video of Miss Charlotte getting scritches. Why all that at once?
Because I'm headed to Total Confusion Game Convention (TotalCon) and Rumble, while I love it, doesn't really do pre-scheduled videos. I mean the buttons are there, but they don't hide the videos from anybody, so I might as well release them all.
YouTube gets its regular release schedule, so they have to wait!

After Stephen came up with the literary/movie genre question, he has to go back and ask dear dear friend Christopher Holmes for which world he would want to be marooned in. We also talk about movie pi

This Rumble Tuesday I finish off my run through the first Challenge Series with my favorite, Wizard's Challenge. The only one I bought when it was new on the shelf, this AD&D 2e module is also the one I think best succeeds at being doable as a single Player Character.
