A throwback to where it all began from around 2 years ago. My first interview with Ed Richards from Superdrone.

I have just been informed that I've not been offered a position.

First of all Good Luck to Blyth Spartans, South Shields and Ashington in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round.

North Shields today host Grimsby Borough in the Pitching in Northern Premier League Division East.

North Shields are currently 11th in the league after 3 wins 3 draws and 3 defeats. Grimsby Borough are 18th after 2 wins and 7 defeats both sides have played 9 games so far this season.

I'll have all the updates from today's game including team news on the sportszone from 2pm with Dean Wears.

Good Morning, North Shields are back in action this afternoon at Home at the Daren Perrson Stadium against Grantham Town in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Division East.

This fixture initially was supposed to be played at Grantham's South Kesteven Sports Stadium as they have had pitch problems it was agrees to switch the fixtures around.

North Shields got back to winning ways in the FA Trophy 1st Qualifying round as I said on the radio on Wednesday after seeing off Pontefract Colleries in a 3-1 win. However their league form is 1 win 2 draws and 3 losses.

Grantham Town are out of the FA Trophy after losing at home to Sutton Coldfield Town, Thru got as far as the First Qualifying round of the FA Cup after sending Rugby Town to a replay in a 3-3 draw at home and then lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture.
Grantham have only played just 3 league fixtures so far winning 1 and drawing 2.
They won at home to Shildon and drew away at both LongEaton United and Lincoln United.

North Shields are currently 16th and Grantham are 13th in the league both teams have 5 points.

If 2 hours of Lunchtime with Michael wasn't enough as I said on the radio I'll be giving you updates from tonight's Pitching In Northern Premier League Division East match, Stockton Town vs North Shields.

Stockton go into this one on maximum points winning all 5 of their opening 5 games. The only game they've lost so far this season was the preliminary round of the FA Cup against Pontefract Colleries in the preliminary round.

North Shields have lost their last 2 league games against Hebburn Town and Longeaton United and they got knocked out of the FA Cup at the 1st Qualifying round stage on Saturday. North Shields have 5 points with a win against Tadcaster Albion and draws in the first 2 games against Lincoln United and fellow newly promoted Consett.

Stockton top the table on 15 points and North Shields are 15th on 5 points.
