Never forgotten, Galileo's great sire, the mighty Sadler's Wells. Timeform rated 132, thanks to his multiple Grade One wins, he also become one of the greatest sires of modern times and thankfully passed down his genes to his sons - Galileo, Montjeu and for South Africa, the great Fort Wood.

Not only a top racehorse and sire, he also possessed a relaxed, calm temperment which he passed down to many of his progeny, Galileo in particular seemed to have inherited his sires relaxed temperment. In turn he has passed it down to Frankel, who is most certainly one of the greatest gifts he could leave the breeding and racing world.

In memory of the beloved FUNNY CIDE (Distorted Humor), who died Sunday from complications of colic. He was 23.

Winner of the 2003 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, a champion, but most importantly, a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who knew him. He will be missed. ❤️

Encouraging to see that the buyers are eager to snap up horses. It's been a tough few years for sales and with South Africa working hard to get our horses onto the international scene.
