Our last entered festival we have been selected as a semi finalist in Santa Cruz Independent Film Festival. So blessed to be accepted into the Lost Boys town. 31 Festivals it has been a heck of a run. Thank you to everyone involved and for everyone's support. Wow Fresh As A Daisy Films is blown away our film "Yubitsume" has won best short film at the New Orleans Film Makers Festival! Massive thank you to the festival and to everyone involved in the production.We are thrilled.

Fresh As A Daisy Films woke up to some fabulous news today. Our film Yubitsume is the official winner of best Australian short for the Sydney Indie Short Film Festival Spring 2022. We are so happy to win an award in the city it was filmed in. A massive thank you to all involved!

A Gathering won the Award of Distinction at the Canada Shorts Film Festival! Big thank you to the every person involved in the project, it wouldn't have been made without you.

Fresh As A Daisy Films is set to release our new film "Yubitsume" on the festival circuit. It is our first Australian production and we are very proud of it, big thank you to all involved. "A Gathering" is now available to stream in the Lift-Off Spring Showcase Festival! You can see it on Page 2, #21. You just have to rent the festival, consider it a sneak preview of the film 😉

The festival runs until May 4th, it's $18 for nearly 100 short films of all varieties. We went to the festival in 2017, the films were fantastic (one was nominated for an Oscar 😳), and we've had a couple of our shorts make it to the online festivals as well (On The Way & Where's Amanda). What we're trying to say is: support them!

'A Gathering' made it into the 2021 Lift-Off Festival in the First-Time Filmmaker category! Special thanks to the entire cast and crew, who did an amazing job bringing the film together and working incredibly hard during the 2.5 days of filming. We'll update with the links to view the film in the online festival when they send it to us :)
