Starting off the new year, we’re excited to welcome Juan Martin to the Shagara family with his Shagara debut release, Ascendio.

The 4 track Organic House EP consists of 2 originals, Ascendio and Lumos, which are accompanied by 2 remixes by Shunus and Nomad Saleh.

PREMIERE: Bay Of Fires - Perspective (Original Mix)

Perspective is the Shagara debut EP of Toulouse based DJ & producer, Bay Of Fires. Picking up from his release on Shagara Records most recent VA, Stelliferous, the talented French artist has composed an energetic EP for the label that reflects his style perfectly.

The 2 original tracks utilize a mix of retro-electronic synths, characterizing his personality and unique sound, and are accompanied by 2 innovative remixes by RAMEA and Geist. Ramea’s remix compliments the original well with its clubby feel, while Geist’s remix contrasts the original beautifully, adding another dimension to the release.

Shagara Records resident, Shunus, is back for the label’s 10th release, Parasite. The 5 track organic house & downtempo EP includes 3 tracks featuring vocals by Shunus himself, and 2 remixes by Max TenRoM and Stephane Salerno.

Parasite is a journey orchestrated by a fusion of tribal percussion, playful basslines, and a clever balance of synthesized and organic sounds. The British-born Cairo-based producer has created a mysterious and surreal, yet adventurous and energetic release.
