Last week I finally received my Walt's Trooper Factory armor and greeblies...and it was EIGHT months late and a MASSIVE disappointment.
The list of screw ups and poor communication is a mile long:
- incomplete armor
- slight orange peeling
- constant excuses
- poor communication
- the second shipment was apparently shipped to the wrong person
- initial shipment of greeblies was incomplete and POORLY made (see pictures in album).
- money was lost on second shipment of armor due to duties having to be paid
- promises of completing a second set to make up for lost money was never followed through with.
It goes on and on.
I considered making a video about this and go into greater detail about how horrible of an experience this was. I have already recorded it...However I am going to hold off, until I cool down and think things through.
I honestly feel Walt wants to do well, and the hard armor is of fair quality. Many people will vouch for him. But he has demonstrated poor communication and organizational skills when it comes to dealing with his customers. And I know for a fact that I am not the only one who has had difficulty dealing with this company.
This is not personal. This is business.... and he will NOT be receiving mine anytime soon...or possibly ever again.
Now... let's shake all that off and build this costume.
