Far Out Films is a film collective that makes children's content and facilitates kids making films. We have shot short films, youtube content and television. With our mentoring, our kids have shot short films that have been accepted into some of the world's most prestigious film competitions and festivals, including Tropfest Australia and CICFF. Our kids have won awards for their craft and it give

s us a bit of a buzz to help the next generation of filmmakers. Although we are based in Melbourne, our films have been shown in festivals in Asia, Canada and extensively throughout the US, as well as down under. A collection of our short films is regularly shown for free over the Big Screens at Federation Square (Melbourne) and The Concourse (Sydney), so check them out when you're in town!
