Today I was reminded of my love for poetry.
You know how sometimes life just happens and the things you used to do and used to love just kinda get left behind a lil bit? Yh.
Today while cohosting a Poetry Jam for the Teacher Resource Center I heard some extraordinary local poets speak and heard the most insightful description to said poems.
There was no age limit, no limitations whatsoever. Just a genuine appreciation for Poetry. And it was beautiful.

Today, ‘We Decide”.
Today We celebrate those persons with Down Syndrome…today and every day.
Today is significant as March 21— (21/3) represents the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
So today we wear colorful and mismatched socks to celebrate the beauty in being different…the beauty in humanity💙💛

Made my tiny contribution at my alma mater
CHS Gazette yesterday and let me tell you these girls are powerhouses…. look out world! I met some incredible females. The energy was electric!
My point? Play your part, impart a word, share a
smile. We're breaking biases. 💜
