📣Attention all Māori Jr Golfers in Auckland! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

The Auckland Jr Inter Club is coming up, and we're putting together a team of rangatahi Māori Golfers to represent our community! We welcome golfers with handicaps of all ranges to register their interest.

The team will be managed by Kyle Maihi, 2x Māori Nationals champion, and the format is stableford. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills, represent your culture, and make new friends in the golfing community.

Hi all,

Just wanted to recap my first part of the year now I've had some time to reflect. All in all I'm happy with what I've achieved from playing 20 events in a 3 month stretch. I achieved a goal of playing in my first NZ Open, winning a couple Pro-Ams, and being top 3 on our overall standings. But, I'm still not satisfied with my performances. I've definitely got better in some aspects of my game but have struggled a lot more mentally this year.

I'm not usually the one to ask for much but, for the rest of the season I'm going to need all the help I can get. I'm heading over to the UK in a couple days to play the ClutchPro Tour and am looking for assistance. Whether that be good advice in any form, contacts of people in golf/psychologists/trainers etc, places to stay, or sponsorship. Every little bit helps!

My first event is at St Mellion on May 2nd, which starts an 18 event season on the Clutch Tour. The goal for playing on this tour is to get better every week and earn a card on the European Challenge tour.

Kia ora everyone! Well the live draw went a bit longer than I initially thought ha ha, but we got there and can now confirm the winners of the raffle! Congratulations to all of our winners, and a maaaaaasive thank you to all who reached out and donated to the raffle to help Kyle with this. That’s a Christmas wrap for Caddy Bach! Huge mihi to team CB, all of the golf clubs that have hosted us this year, Remuera Golf Club for allowing us to record our podcast at their events at velocity_range, GGG, Wairua Golf Club and Hongi the Pin for moving the needle for brown golf, Groove Bar for being our go to spot, Zeffer Cider for keeping us “hydrated” for our Christmas closer and to all of our partners for allowing us play this stupid game! Big mihi to for hosting us for our last club day of the year yesterday! We may be bias but the course was presented in top condition, shop and hospitality staff were amazing and beers cold! Now on to our foursomes round at Royal Chambers Bay on the 11th for a bit of fun!
