In 2017 I left my job as an Assistant Director at a daycare center, gave up my living room + my son’s room in my townhouse, and started my own in-home daycare. Life happened, I closed the business, buried the dream and ventured into other things. In 2020 I met my friend, now business partner @aqueenwithdreams and we created @brilliantandkind. Three years later, Brilliant and Kind is now a commercial space 😱🥹 like literally, zoned commercial.. like an actual building.. like I got a key to a space other than my house 😩 that’s WILD! Lol I had a little slide in my backyard, if the wind blew them babies would’ve flew 😩🤦🏾♀️🤣 now we have a full playground 😭 and so much more. Don’t despise small beginnings! Transparent moment: You know the saying, “Dollar and a dream”? Well I’m living proof of GOD and dream. Cause chile, thats’s all I had/got.
