Motor City Music Society MCMS was launched by a group of people who want to shine a spotlight on Detroit's finest local bands and the scene(s) they inhabit.

Originally recorded out of The Sound Shop in Macomb, MI, the show is currently produced at Podcast Detroit's downtown location at the Detroit Shipping Company. Once a month, we conduct exclusive interviews with a wide array of the Motor City's hardest-working musicians, broadcasters, promoters and producers. The MCMS Team:

Every other Monday, we have artists and bands in studio for exclusive performances and interviews. Our team records out of The Sound Shop Studio in Macomb, MI.
