Introducing Dobi! An AI-driven virtual humanoid agent designed to have conversations and behave like a real human in the first beyond reality adventure in Varna Museum which used to be an all-girls high school “Maria Louisa” from 1893 until 1983. Dobi is in her official uniform and it is an end-to-end framework, starting from natural speech generation to realistic human motions, all in real-time while communicating with players.

The current AI-driven system isn’t perfect and that is why when we release the first adventure by the end of this year, Dobi will not be fully AI drive. Our team is working on adding new modalities, like better facial expressions, eyeball movement, smoother gestures, and finger movements as the latter ones will most likely be there when we realease the first adventure in VR as well!
