Join some of your favorite Chicagoland Jammer IJs, along with special guests, for a special Father's Day broadcast this Sunday, June 16th, from 5-6 pm ET (4-5 pm CT). We are excited to present Buffalo's Seven Polka Band making their Chicago debut during the Club 505 Reunion Party.

Club 505, once known as Chicago’s, and arguably the world’s, top polka nightspot, was opened in 1946 by Walter and Josephine Mlynarczyk. It was located at 13505 South Brainard Avenue in Hegewisch, a southeastern corner of Chicago, until its closure in 2011.

This broadcast will take place at Steve's Lounge & Hall, located at 13200 S. Baltimore Ave, just down the block from the original Club 505. You can join us in person or online at polkajammernetwork.org wpjndb.com. The hall doors open at 2:00 pm this Sunday.

Join me, Kenny H, the Kman, on Thursday, June 20th, for a special episode of "The Blast From The Past Show." This three-hour program, airing from 8:00 to 11:00 am Eastern (7:00 to 10:00 am Central), will be dedicated to celebrating the joy of Parish Picnics.

We'll take a nostalgic journey back to the days when Parish Picnics were the highlight of the community, featuring live local bands, delicious food, fun games, and great company. I'll be playing live recordings of various bands that capture the spirit of these beloved events.

So, think back to your favorite Parish Picnic memories and tune in on June 20th. Let me transport you to those cherished gatherings. Spike your coffee and tea, and let's enjoy a delightful trip down memory lane, celebrating the tradition of the Parish Picnic.

On behalf of the entire staff of the Polka Jammer Network, we express our heartfelt appreciation for your incredible support and generosity during our recent Jammerthon fundraiser. Your contributions have exceeded our expectations, and we are thrilled to announce that we have raised over $101,900 for the entire weekend.

Your kindness and unwavering support continue to amaze us year after year. We are grateful for your steadfast commitment to the Polka Jammer Network, and we cannot thank you enough for your donations.

Throughout the 36 hours of live programming, we had over 70 volunteers from all over the country answering phones and working with various IJs for all three days of the fundraiser. Their dedication and hard work were invaluable, and we appreciate their contributions to the success of our event.

Jammerthon 2024 is this weekend and The DynaBrass will be taking pledges during Hot American Polkas on Sunday April 28th from 6 to 8 pm.

In addition, we will be doing a special pre-release premiere of another new song “Have A Drink On Me”. Kenny Olowin plans to feature the song after 6:30pm.

This song has special meaning, the modified lyrics are about a good friend of polkas music and is dedicated to the memory of Gene Swick.

The Polka Jammer Network is proud to present the world premiere of the 2023 Four Strings Tours Nashville Polka Jamboree! This two-part series will air Monday, April 15th, and Monday, April 22nd on the Polka Jammer Network at 7 PM CT (6 PM CT.) The concert recording features performances from Lenny Gomulka and Chicago Push as well as exclusive appearances by a plethora of surprise Nashville guests, and is hosted by Nan Kelly and Mike Terry (announcers for Grand Ole Opry) alongside polka IJs we all know and love!

Four Strings Tours was founded by Ryan Joseph Ogrodny (member of Alan Jackson’s band) and his wife, Danika Portz Ogrodny. Last year’s Nashville VIP Polka Tour was highlighted by many events like the Polka Jamboree- and this year’s trip is even better. The program will be broadcast from the K & C Entertainment Studios in Chicago and will feature the combined top ten selling CDs as compiled by Polka Retailers: Polka Connection and Jimmy K Polkas. There are quite a few surprises in store for you this year as we learn which of your favorite polka recordings made this year’s list.
