The story of Alex Rust and his band of crazy sailors is a joyous celebration of adventure, living life to the full and taking a dream and making it a reality. Alex sailed close to the wind, took the bull by the horns and made the world a better place by embracing different cultures and people. His enthusiasm and optimism are infectious, his drive to live life on his own terms an inspiration. The world needs more people like Alex Rust. This week in the Virgin Islands a bunch of like minded folks come together to celebrate Alex and his sailboat "Bubbles," which like a Phoenix has risen from disrepair to take to the oceans again. Come join us April 30-May 3 for a Flotilla Raft-Up Party and Regatta through the BVI’s, all ages are welcome!
This is a special event celebrating the resurrection of the historical S/V Bubbles and the launch of the Chasing Bubbles Foundation! ‘Chasing Bubbles’ is one of the most inspirational sailing documentaries on YouTube for those who have not seen it!

So after we spend the first day getting to know each other chillin on floats and jamming out to music, we’ll have 3 consecutive days of regattas, 1 race each day. If the Trade Winds stay true, each leg will be a 2-3hr downwind/beam reach sail which will give us plenty of time to have an awards ceremony and celebrate at the local bar of each anchorage!
This is not a professional racing event, we’re all a bunch of rum drinking, average cruisers ready to have a good time 🍻🍹

The Itinerary is below and RSVP using the link so we can get a headcount! We have 15 boats confirmed so far and counting!

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Meet us at Bitter End in Virgin Gorda for a Flotilla Raft-Up Party, tying up between 9-11am and partying from 12-5pm
Day 2: Regatta Race #1 from Virgin Gorda to Scrubb Island, awards ceremony at Scrubb Island Resort!
Day 3: Regatta #2 from Scrubb Island to Norman Island, awards ceremony at W***y T’s Bar!
Day 4: Regatta #3 from Norman Island to Jost Van D**e, awards ceremony at Foxy’s or Soggy Dollar!
