Episode 3:
Ronald's first few days at the new school were overwhelming. Everywhere he went, people would stare and whisper to each other. He felt like a celebrity, but not in a good way. Despite the attention, Ronald kept to himself, only talking to Emily.
"He's so cute, but he never talks to anyone," Nelly said to her friend Becky.
"I know, right? I heard he's from Enugu State but the family lives here in lagos." Becky replied.
"Yeah, and I heard his family is super wealthy. That's probably why he keeps to himself," Nelly added.
But Ronald wasn't aware of the gossip. He was too busy trying to process his feelings about his new school and his parents' decision to transfer him. He focused on his studies, determined to excel academically.
As the days went by, Ronald found comfort in his routine. He would attend classes, talk to Emily during lunch, and then head to the library to study. He was trying to move on from Jessy, but it was hard.
One day, during assembly, the principal praised Ronald's intelligence and academic achievements. Every student in the assembly ground applauded him.Ronnald began to like God's grace secondary school though he never forgot to mind his business.
After the assembly, Emily congratulated him on his achievements. "You're doing great, Ronald. I'm so proud of you."
Ronald smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Emily. She was his only friend in this new school, and he appreciated her support.
But despite his growing friendship with Emily, Ronald couldn't shake off the feeling that he didn't quite belong. He missed Jessy and his old friends, and he wondered if he would ever find his true place.

"Ronald, how was your day?" Mrs. Flora asked, serving dinner.
"It was okay, Mum," Ronald replied, not looking up from his phone.
"Just okay? What happened?" Mr. Johnson asked, concerned.
"Nothing, Dad. Just the usual gossip and stares. I'm just trying to focus on my studies," Ronald said, sighing.
"We're proud of you, son," Mrs. Flora said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "You're doing great. Just remember, we're here for you."
"Thanks, Mum. I know," Ronald said, forcing a smile.
"Have you talked to Jessy lately?" Mr. Johnson asked, curious.
"Ye...no Dad,he finally said. But we no longer see," Ronald said, looking down.
"We know, son. But we believe this move was for the best. You'll see," Mr. Johnson said, trying to reassure him.
"I hope so, Dad. I just feel like I don't belong here yet," Ronald said, looking up at his parents.
"You will, son. Just give it time," Mrs. Flora said, smiling.
"Why didn't you want me to be friends with Jessy, Dad?" Ronald asked, looking up at his father.
Mr. Johnson sighed and put down his fork. "Ronald, we've talked about this before. We just think that Jessy is a distraction for you. You need to focus on your studies and your future."
"But why can't I have friends and still focus on my studies?" Ronald asked, feeling frustrated.
"Because, son, you have a tendency to get too close to people and lose sight of what's important. We don't want to see you get hurt or lose your way," Mrs. Flora added.
"But Jessy is a good person, Mum. She's always been there for me," Ronald said, feeling a pang of loyalty towards his friend.
"I'm sure she is, dear. But we're just trying to protect you," Mrs. Flora said, softly.
"Protect me from what?" Ronald asked, feeling a sense of confusion.
"From getting too attached to someone who may not be good for you in the long run," Mr. Johnson said, firmly.
Ronald shook his head, feeling like his parents didn't understand him at all. "You're not being fair, Dad. You're always so quick to judge people without even getting to know them."
Mr. Johnson's expression turned stern. "Ronald, we're your parents. It's our job to protect you and make decisions that are best for you. And right now, we think it's best for you to distance yourself from Jessy."
