I studied web development back in 2013 thinking that I wanted to code but it wasn’t quite the creative outlet I was looking for. My training in web development however, was crucial in learning how the internet worked under the hood, which has been instrumental in becoming an effective marketer.
While I was trying to build up my web development business, what I noticed was that people thought they wanted a new website, when in reality what they needed was better content.
I had always played around with video as a hobby and would spend hours watching videos about cinematography and related gear on YouTube. For whatever reason it took me some time to realize that what I should double-down on was video. My first client was a successful fitness instructor and wanted some help shooting video for his YouTube channel. I loved it! This was the moment I realized this is what I wanted to do. Matt Eldon Videography was born.
