Did you know that it only takes 150+ minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity (or 75 minutes per week if you do it vigorously) to keep you heart healthy and protected from heart disease? If you break that down, it is only around 21 minutes a day! Doesn’t sound that bad now, huh? A nice walk outside to breathe in the fresh air and connect with your surroundings is just one way we love to get moving (and if you have a pet to keep you company, that’s even better!). If walks aren’t for you, you can get your heart rate up by going on a bike ride with family, bouncing on a small trampoline while you watch TV, doing step aerobics, standing while you work instead of sitting, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or even doing a home dance party!
