The majority of us were bracing ourselves for this day, especially with being triggered by the weather reports this week.
Even though our schools remained open, alot of us still had anxiety that was brought on by remembering the tragic storm that struck our small town one year ago today and left a hole in alot of our hearts.
We want to take a moment in remembrance of Egan Jeffcoat. Our hearts go out to his mother, teachers, family, friends, and anyone his presence has had an impact on. We all had our own ways of reflecting, grieving, and showing our love for you.
- The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.

With schools closing in surrounding areas due to the weather tomorrow, what are your thoughts about our kids being out of school on Tuesday and the possibility of them being out of school tomorrow due to inclement weather?

No school tomorrow due to inclement weather. We hope everyone stays safe!

Our most recent update from the National Weather Service confirmed that our window of greatest threat will prevent us from operating morning transportation as normal. There is a high likelihood of rain and wind with strong gusts. This could potentially cause flooding in low areas during morning bus transportation time. The risks involved with students trying to catch the bus in rainy conditions have led the Butts County School System to make the decision to cancel school tomorrow, January 9th, 2024, out of an abundance of caution.

We are so blessed to have had these years with Coach Crawford! As much as he's enjoyed being our childrens' educator, he is elated to persue his retirement.
Go big or go home, make memories, and enjoy your life to the fullest! You deserve it Coach! But you will greatly be missed by all the little hearts you poured your soul into! Happy Retirement Coach Greg Crawford!
