Why do humans love pointed hats so much?

Statues from the Iron Age and hats dating back to the Bronze Age reveal evidence that people have been fond of wearing conical hats for a very long time.

Nowadays, most of us just call them “witch hats,” but such headwear holds significance for a variety of religions and cultures, and are traditional attire for a range of events.

And for some people, pointy witch hats are more than just holiday whimsey — they wear them year round.
