We were hanging out in Santa Barbara and decided to take an impromptu jaunt over to Las Vegas. This is an instrumented (at 3X) covering that . It took place in the winter, January 19, 2023.

There is no single direct highway that cuts across the northern edge of , so our journey involves 1 US highway, 2 interstate highways, 4 state highways, and one highway that is not a numbered route of any sort. There are various changes in elevation along the way, and the terrain varies from coastal to desert. Because this was during the winter, there are quite a few interesting cloudscapes, and at one point we hit some light snowfall. We arrive in Las Vegas (technically Paradise, Nevada) after dark. There are occasional comments and informational/entertainment pauses interspersed throughout the video.
