How do you measure podcast success?
Do you have measures that go beyond tracking the download and listener numbers?
I’d love to hear some of your success measures? 😊
Ever wondered why it’s important to record separate tracks for each person in your podcast interviews? Here’s why:
1️⃣ Better Audio Quality: Separate tracks mean you can isolate and fix audio issues for each participant. This helps remove any background noise or over-talking, making your podcast sound clearer.
2️⃣ Easier Editing: If someone’s audio isn’t perfect, having separate tracks makes it easier to clean up and fix problems. It’s a lifesaver when you need to address specific issues in the recording.
3️⃣ Zoom Settings: If you’re using Zoom, make sure to enable the option to “record separate tracks for each participant” in the settings.
4️⃣ Other Platforms: Tools like Riverside, Squadcast, and Zencaster automatically record separate tracks for you.
Recording separate tracks might seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference. Give it a try and see how it enhances the quality of your audio! 🎧

A lot of podcasters don’t look at their analytics beyond the downloads and listeners numbers and whilst they are important, the gold is in some of the other analytics that give you more insight into audience insights, content performance, consumption/retention rates and monetisation opportunities.
When you start to track and analyse the data, you can really take the guesswork out of it and actually see what is working and what’s not. And that means that you’re taking intentional steps to grow your podcast.
Do you have a group program for business owners? I would love to run a Masterclass for you on How to Amplify your Business Message with a podcast. 🎙️ 📣
