Pedestrian Wanderlust is a movement movement. It has been commissioned across the U.S and Europe and it’s set to keep growing. Our goal is to further expand our community, in hopes it will follow our mission, to celebrate and give movement, in whatever form it chooses to manifest. At the moment all films are shot on iPhone. Lighting is all natural and music is added in post. Thus our subjects are moving solely in the sounds of their environment - gathering their inspiration internally and externally. Music is selected afterwards, once an overall message is agreed upon. Pedestrian Wanderlust supports its community by hosting free monthly improv jams with live music throughout the city. Jams begin with a one hour movement exploration led by a Pedestrian Wanderlust team member. Once attendants are loose comfortable and open to their bodies voice we open the floor to a free-for-all dance party! Movers interact, create, and express freely as a unit. The goal is to open attendants to people of different identities, physicalities, and experiences with a common interest in movement. Past work includes but is not limited to:
