Even as believers, there may be seasons of our lives where it appears like everyone is against us and things are falling apart. At those times, we may be distressed just like David was.
The surest way out is to find strength in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

As you go this week, remember that the power of God is made perfect in your weakness. So, rest on God for strength daily.

So many people today do not care how the money comes. Either it's a sinful way or not, they just want to have money and acquire things by all means.

The Book of Ecclesiastes 1 vs 14 says, it is a chase after the wind. Many people have decided to ignore even the love of God to us just because they are trying to acquire the riches of this world.

Like Jesus said in this verse, always remember that life is not measured by how much material things you own. But after you have completed your race here, what impact would you have made? Would you be able to look back and say you fulfilled the purpose of God for you on earth?

Utmostly, will God be able to reward you and say, well done my faithful servant or get behind me oh ye workers of iniquity?

Luke 12 vs 21 says, “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”

We pray that we shall fulfil our days on earth doing the will of the Father in Jesus name. (Amen)

It's been one whole month of nurturing this beautiful baby of mine.

One whole month of officially being The Jesus Gist Girl.✌🏻

One whole month of sticking with dishing out contents that will point at Jesus on all platforms.

I am excited about what the last one month looked like but I am more excited about what the future holds because it's way bigger than here.

Did I get it perfectly right in this first month? Certainly not. There were days I was too tired to post. There are lots of contents on my November calendar that didn't make it out. However, I'm excited I finally took the bold step to start. I am a work in progress and I trust the Holyspirit to help me to do more.

HAPPY ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY TO THIS MEDIA SPACE; THE JESUS GIST GIRL. Global is the goal and global you shall go in Jesus name! (Amen)

Service today as usual was a time of learning and unlearning with Pastor Poju Oyemade. Few of the striking points from today's teaching are shared below:

✓Even if God chooses a king for you, it doesn't guarantee that the king will do well. Didn't he chose a king for Israel and he still misbehaved?
What guarantees a king will do well is that people are praying for him.🤏🏼 (You can replace the "king" with man/woman and apply that in the context of relationship/marriage. )

✓ We win as a team or you loose by default. (He said, Even God worked as a team when He said "come, let's make man in our image". Why do you want to work alone?)

✓ If you are bringing the value, you will determine what you get. (The story of Daniel & his friends _ Daniel 5 vs 11)

✓ When God leads you, He knows more than you. There's something He sees that you can't see. (Isaiah 60 vs 3)

✓ Wrong teaching is worse than ignorance.

✓ Insight is a product of searching.

Fun fact about this particular episode:

At about 15 minutes to 12 noon the day episode 1 was to go live, I realized for the first time the implication of what I was about to do. My vulnerable moments were about to go live for the world to pick lessons from. (Very unlike me) I had cold feet & the thought of stopping the video from going live flashed. But I smiled & nudged it off.

Beyond that, it dawned on me yet again that my dad had truly gone to be with the Lord hence the videos. I became teary. But I didn't allow a single tear to drop. I quickly began to play Theophilus Sunday's chants as I prayed in the Holyghost & declared that the videos will impact lives positively & realign many to the Father.

Reading the comments on the video & honest private conversations I have had with people in this past one week have further confirmed to me the need to let the story out. I am truly glad at this point that I didn't hold back.
I pray that beyond my human knowledge or my words in the videos, the Holyspirit will heal every broken heart and help many in similar shoes to see that they are not alone and that even in the difficult lonely moments, JESUS is with them. (Amen)

Waiting can be a very difficult place to be but then, it is part of our growth process.

I remember when I was pregnant with my son Ireayomide, nine months felt like waiting till forever at some point especially the last trimester.
However, waiting for the nine months was needed for the full growth of the baby. So, I waited expectantly and prayerfully for my blessing to fully develop and be ready for manifestation.

Some are in a longer waiting season. No matter how long or short, your waiting period is, remember to hold unto the Lord for strength.

Yesterday, Ify's Kitchen celebrated her parents' 50 years wedding anniversary.

Whoosh! Did you hear that? 50 years and they are looking radiant! I was inspired.

Since social media keeps propagating the lies from the pit of hell that marriages don't work out anymore, I get really excited when I come across such beautiful testimonies on this street.

MARRIAGES ARE ORDAINED BY GOD. (Trying out of God can be disastrous.)
MARRIAGES ARE WORKING.
BEAUTIFUL MARRIAGES EXIST.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE FEW TRAGIC STORIES THAT MEDIA ESCALATES.

With God as the third person in your home, a high level of commitment and intentionality, you can build a lasting marriage too.

Focus on the positive stories. There are many of them around you. It is not all couples that are faking the smile. Many of us are genuinely happy with the help of God.
