10 days before Christmas.

Wherever you go‚
everyones home is full of colorful lights and decorations.
As they give a blessing‚
the kids singing “merry christmas”.

Those kids walking across the street‚
and enjoying the beautiful christmas scenery.
Those families embracing each other‚
and sharing pure and genuine love.

Santa’s knocking‚
and the kids are waiting.
People’s excited to celebrate christmas
with those foods‚ and presents.

“Nagugutom ako.” sabi ko habang nakatingin sa street food na hindi kalayuan.

“Tara? Libre ko‚ don’t worry.”

“Thank you‚ buti na lang may nanglilibre sa ‘kin.” Sabi ko habang kumakain ng fishball.

“You deserve that. Kanina ka pa kasi aral nang aral‚ baka mamaya makain mo na yung libro.” sabi niya habang tumatawa.

“How much do I owe you? hm?” tanong ko.

“Wala‚ as I said earlier libre ko.” simpleng sagot niya.

“Parang gusto ko non.” sabay turo ko sa ice cream na tinitinda ni manong.

“Ok‚ I’ll buy it for you. Wait me here.” sabay takbo niya kay manong na nagtitinda.

“here‚ eat this bago ka mag-aral ulit diyan.” sabay bigay ng ice cream sa akin.

“thank you‚ how much do I owe you for this?” tanong ko.

“It’s free. Don’t worry.” sagot niya.

“Wow‚ look! A giant teddy bear.” sabi ko sa kaniya.

“You want it? Let me buy it for you.” sabi naman niya.

“No no no‚ it’s kinda expensive.” sabi ko.

“No‚ it’s okay.” sabay punta niya sa shop para bilhin ang teddy bear na tinuro ko kanina.

“here‚ mahihirapan ka dalhin ‘yan bahala ka.” sabi niya habang tumatawa.

“Hey‚ how much do I owe you for this?” tanong ko ulit.

“Since it’s kinda expensive...” sabi niya.

“what?” sagot ko habang hinihintay ang kasunod na sasabihin niya.

“pay me with your love...”

“...”

they give me your eyes and your presence.
But those aren't mine,
what can I do?

I'll never let you go if you were mine,
never thought that I need you that much.
How could I stop admiring you?
if your presence is enough to calm my heart and mind.
