I am all set up for Lodi Comic Con!
Doors open in an hour, I am never set up this fast!
Huge thank you to .dom.jr and his brother, as well as Shop Gremlin who all helped to set up today.

Day two of SacAnime, and the Cosplay Repair booth has been nuts all day!

I did get a few pictures so far, my Frog Lady tank got to walk around with , and .entry with his Gundam squad visited .dom.jr and his Deathscythe Gundam

I was super impressed with the Colonial Marine, his smart gun was built on a steady can arm, and his head mounted camera was mostly built from screen accurate vintage parts!

More to do today, and we will be here all day tomorrow!

Shop Gremlin and I have been working on a Loth-Cat skeleton, and it is making its first public appearance at SacAnime!

It might still need a little work, but it is more than ready to be on display.

We are set up and helping out with cosplay repair for the con. We will be here through Sunday night.

Just having some fun before today's con starts.
It's day two at the weekend blender in Sunrise Mall in citrus heights California.

The best little mini con is open during Mall hours which is noon to 6:00 today.

I will be here the whole time!

It's a free con with free parking! I will be here all weekend!

The Weekend Blender is not your typical Comic-Con, And this weekend we have the drummer from The Max Rebo band from Return of the Jedi.

5 months in the making, and tonight is the night!
We have been making a new pair of 8 foot tall Emmy replicas for the main event!

One is in the reception area, and another is on stage!

I am looking forward to seeing people interacting with her, and getting more pictures.

We made one last year, and this year we made two new statues! Only the big base is reused from last year, lots of 3D printing, and hand made fabrication.

I have been sharing progress on my private discord, and now I can start a video about the building process, which started last year!

Kyber Cave Productions. It's on YouTube at 7pm Pacific time, Sunday June 9th.

We will be talking about lightsabers, some of the weird builds that I've done, and possibly show some stuff that's coming up!

I've known Kyber Cave for a while, and they've been asking for a long time to have me on their podcast. So I'm excited to finally get to do it.

I have a new lightsaber video dropping today!

After a long break I've got a fully edited and easy to follow video tutorial all ready to go for May the 4th.

Grab some PVC pipe, some insulation foam and some duct tape; then crank Duel of the Fates up to 11!

Hello! I have been working on a new video!

I make a boffer style lightsaber from PVC pipe, foam, and duct tape.

The new video will drop tomorrow, May the 4th! Of course.

Saturday, May 4, 2024; 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Esports tournaments, workshops, food trucks, cosplay, and a vendors hall!

It’s a free event, and I will be hosting a lightsaber building workshop that is sponsored by Blick Art Materials! Seats for the workshop are limited, but there is more than one workshop! will also be hosting a Jedi Robe workshop using drop cloth and hot glue! It’s a non sewing workshop, easy for beginners.

If you can't make it tomorrow, my new video is the prototype for the live workshop I am holding. Grab some ¾” PVC, pipe insulation foam, and your favorite colors of duct tape and make your own! They are fantastic for having backyard battles with your padawans!

I just finished my live stream where I made a three ingredient boffer lightsaber... It's just PVC pipe, pipe insulation foam, and duct tape!

You also get to see a behind the scenes on how I make my videos! I talk about that at length before I get going on the lightsaber.

It will be edited into a full video that'll be out around May 4th. I'm also doing this lightsaber build as a live workshop in Rancho Cordova California on the 4th! Details to come soon!

I'm going to be live streaming today and I'm making a lightsaber for May the 4th!

Specifically what I'm doing today is live streaming my process while recording a new video at the same time, and making a boffer style lightsaber. Or one that is made from PVC pipe, foam, and duct tape.

Early stream starts soon for my patrons and at noon California time I will open the stream for the public!

I am going back to Tracy CA!

I lived there back in the early 80s, we had to go Stockton to see Return of the Jedi in the theater!

I will be bringing my MechaGodzilla, and some other props to exhibit.

and are excited to announce that The Weekend Blender: Not Your Typical Comic Con will be returning to West Valley Mall in Tracy California.

Your Cosplay Host will be joined by special guests:

There will be a variety of vendors and a costume contest will take place each day.

The event is at the mall and there is no entrance or parking fee.

We hope you will join us for this family friendly event.

Day 3 of WonderCon, I got a picture with !

I love all the cosplays I saw and the creative building techniques, I think I'm going to keep coming to wondercon as my vacation con where I don't actually work it!

I want to be back next year!
